چکیده
Abstract Many empirical equations have been proposed in the past to predict parameters of one-dimensional normal consolidation line (1D-NCL) for soils. However, applications these are limited specific range pressure and plasticity General 1D-NCL large soils presented this study. It is assumed that has up three slopes start at different stresses depending on liquid limit (LL) The 59 a LL (19–520%) was used establish initial part 1D-NCL. were categorized based their into two groups: (i) < 110% (ii) > 110%. compared with previous equations. comparisons showed new better agreement tests results, especially highly plastic Moreover, verify verifications good between experimental predicted results.

Numerical solution for one-dimensional independent of time Schrödinger Equation
In this paper, one of the numerical solution method of one- particle, one dimensional timeindependentSchrodinger equation are presented that allows one to obtain accurate bound state eigenvalues and functions for an arbitrary potential energy function V(x).For each case, we draw eigen functions versus the related reduced variable for the correspondingenergies. The paper ended with a comparison ...
متن کاملa numerical approach for one dimensional thermal consolidation of clays
in saturated soils, heating induces thermal expansion of both grains and the pore fluid. lower thermal expansion coefficient of aggregates results in the increase of pore pressure and reduction of the effective stress besides subsequent volume changes due to the dissipation of pore pressure and heat transfer. dissipation of thermally induced pore pressure with time is a coupled thermo-hydro-mec...
متن کاملOne Dimensional Non-linear Consolidation of Unsaturated Fine Grained Soils
In the content of this study, non-linear consolidation behavior of unsaturated soils was investigated. In this respect a non linear differential equation for consolidation has been proposed. This proposed differential equation and its solutions enlighten both the diffusive characteristics and the time rate of settlement of soils. Besides, this study also enables to perform the matric suction ca...
متن کاملExamination on Time-dependent Soil Models in One-dimensional Consolidation
This paper reviews the performance of two time-dependent constitutive models in predictions of one-dimensional consolidation. The Soft-Soil Creep model [1] is an example of an elastic-viscoplastic formulation that incorporates a timedependent state variable to estimate viscoplastic deformation. We show that the SSC model is equivalent to the isotache formulation proposed by Imai [2], as both ar...
متن کاملTransport in the One-dimensional Schrödinger Equation
We prove a dispersive estimate for the Schrödinger equation on the real line, mapping between weighted Lp spaces with stronger time-decay (|t|− 3 2 versus |t|− 1 2 ) than is possible on unweighted spaces. To satisfy this bound, the long-term behavior of solutions must include transport away from the origin. Our primary requirements are that 〈x〉3V be integrable and −∆+V not have a resonance at z...
